Versar, Inc. Announces New Iraq Contract
Springfield, Virginia – February 16, 2012 – Versar, Inc. (NYSE Amex: VSR) announced it has been awarded a new contract by the United States Army Corps of Engineers for ongoing Personal Services and Support work in Iraq. The contract has a first year ceiling not to exceed $4.5 million and an option year with an additional ceiling of $4.4 million. Total contract capacity is $8.9 million. The initial period of performance runs through February 6, 2013 and actual contract services will be ordered through individual task orders. Versar has been supporting the United States Department of Defense reconstruction efforts in Iraq since 2004.

Versar, Inc. awarded $13.4 million in additional Afghanistan Construction Management and Quality Assurance Work
Springfield, Virginia – Wednesday, May 11-- Versar, Inc. (NYSE Amex: VSR) announced today that it has been awarded a $13.4 million task order for continued construction
management and quality assurance operations in Afghanistan. This task order will allow
Versar to continue to provide engineering support, construction management and quality
assurance operations in Afghanistan through September 2011 for the Air Force Center for
Engineering and the Environment (AFCEE). Versar has been providing construction
management and quality assurance work for AFCEE in Afghanistan since 2006.

Versar Awarded $4.5 million for Two International Contract Modifications
Springfield, Virginia – February 17, 2011 – Versar, Inc. (NYSE Amex: VSR) announced it has
been awarded two contract modifications from the United States Army Corps of Engineers for
ongoing work in Iraq and Afghanistan. The first contract modification extended Versar's
Personal Services and Support contract in Iraq until April 2011. The extension valued at $2.7
million adds three additional months of service to Versar's contract that has been in place since
April 2006.
The second contract modification was granted to Versar's wholly owned subsidiary, ADVENT
Environmental. The modification added to the period performance and contract value for demining
and Battle Area Clearance that supports the expansion of Camp Hero located at
Kandahar Air Field in Afghanistan. The $1.87 million modification increased the overall
contract value to approximately $9 million and involves the removal of Soviet era military
equipment and construction debris within an area that is scheduled to become a Regional
Military Training Center for the Afghan National Army.

Versar, Inc. Awarded $17.1 million contract for Electrical Inspections In Iraq
Springfield, VA — Thursday, August 12, 2010 — Versar, Inc. (NYSE Amex: VSR) announced
today that it has been awarded a new $17.1 million contract from the US Army Corps of
Engineers, Middle East District. The contract, known as Task Force SAFE (Safety Actions for
Fire and Electricity), is to perform electrical inspections and repairs of facilities used by
American personnel throughout Iraq. Under this contract, Versar's managers, engineers, and
electricians will ensure all electric and fire protection systems used by US Government
personnel in Iraq are operating safely and in compliance with required Electrical codes. The
Task Force SAFE contract period will run until August 2011 with provisions for two option
periods of five months each.

Manila, Philippines - Friday, July 30, 2010 — Versar International’s Asia Pacific Division recently recertified its ISO 9001 standing through an ISO
surveillance audit of both its ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System and ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management System. TUV Rheinland conducted the external surveillance audit on July 30, 2010, which is part of a series of annual recertification audits solidifying VERSAR’s continued commitment to its customers, employees, continual improvement, and delivering exceptional products and services to the construction management industry.
The audit of VERSAR International Asia-Pacific covered the entire scope of the company’s project and construction management support services, which were checked and verified for adherence to both ISO’s standards of quality of services rendered and high environmental standards. The audit consisted of random sampling and examinations of appropriate documents and records and included interviews with management, process owners and involved staff.
